Basketball season ended with some amazing Championship games! The Nets v. Pistons faced off in the U12 championship game which came down to some last minute shots that had parents jumping out their seats. After a challenging game the U12 champions were the Nets led by Coach Elijah. Facing off in the U14 Division championship were the Pistons v. Nets. After a phenomenal game coming down to the last seconds the U14 champions were the Pistons led by Coach Ken.
MACC Sports Basketball ceremony took place right after the adult championship. All players and coaches were acknowledged and awarded a medal after a great season of basketball. MVP honors for each division were given to players who displayed exuberant skills, attitude, and growth on and off the court. Willing to take leadership roles upon themselves by lifting their teammates during tough times. Nominated by coaches and parents, our MVP's were as follows:
Led by Coach Zarci-Aa Cheer MVP goes to Ariona for always going above and beyond for the cheer team and being an influential leader to those around her.
Led by Coach Matt, U8 Division MVP goes to Warriors (G) Eli Hullinger for displaying great fundamental skills and helping not only his teammates but other teams.
Led by Coach Shawn, U12 Division MVP goes to Pistons (PG) Allan Williamson, an influence and pure scorer for his team.
Led by Coach Elijah, U14 Division MVP goes to Nets (SG) Denzellis Peet, a star athlete that shows great integrity, hard work, and leads by example on and off the court.
