MACC Sports FC will begin competitive futsal play beginning January 25th, 2020. Try-outs (Ages 7-9) will be on Wednesday, December 18th from 5:30-8:00pm at Mack Ave. Community Church(3735 Harding). Only 10 players + 2 backups will be selected to participate in tournament play. Practice will be every Monday from 5:30-7:00 pm. at Mack Ave Community Church. Van will leave every Sat. during the season from Mack Ave Comm. Church to game location(Patton Recreation Center--2301 Woodmere, Detroit, MI). Schedule with game times will be released January 5, 2020. The season will run from January 25th-March 7th. Each player will receive uniform(Jersey,shorts, and socks), team pictures and lunch will be served after every practice.

 

Upon selection to participate on MACC Sports FC team each participant must pay a club fee of $40 for the winter futsal season.

 

***Futsal is a variant of association soccer played on a hard court, smaller than a soccer pitch, and mainly indoors. It has similarities to five-a-side soccer. Futsal is played between two teams of five players each, one of whom is the goalkeeper.
